Help us to keep our doors open
Thanks to a large group of donors we were able to purchase three isolation chambers for the ambulances to transport patients with COVID19 or any other aerosolized pathogenic disease. We asked for donations to buy these chambers because we were advised that none of the paramedics were allowed to transport COVID patients in their ambulance. As a part of La Paz county, one dedicated COVID ambulance will be sent to us in the case of an emergency. Obviously the time that ambulance takes to get here is too precious to waste. So 1 chamber will go to our ambulance, 1 chamber will go to the Proteccion Civil in Los Barriles ambulance, and 1 will go to Proteccion Civil in La Rivera.

At the moment we have personal protective equipment (PPE) and supplies. We are lucky to have suppliers and contacts. But these will run out sooner or later. We would like to purchase 100 bunny suits and face shields, which cost 600 pesos or 25 dollars each. We will distribute these materials amongst the first responders here on the East Cape.
