On March, took place the Community annual health screening 2019, where around 550 children from El Campamento, El Cardonal, Los Barriles, and San Bartolo were examined, some adults with special needs were examined too.
The health screening focus was to detect diabetes, vision tests, dental care, and blood pressure.
Afterward, 4 children and 4 adults have been called to see the ophthalmologist Dra. Pamela Herrera; The children with dental needs will be scheduled too for dental work, taking into care the urgency of their needs.
This tests usually take place every April, and it wouldn’t be possible for us to obtain these results without the amazing support from our community Rotary Club, we are very grateful too with the Nevada City Club, and all the volunteers for all the time and effort to make this happen.
